Q1: This is for Madeline. Do you think teenagers today are more sophisticated than they were in the 1960s, and do you think teenage audiences today would be able to appreciate a story like this?
MC: I think that it'd be cool for them to be able to see how it was back then. Kids are so obnoxious nowadays. I really didn't realize until I read this script, and then it wasn't just a script, people actually lived in those days, it was like, "Wow, they were so much nicer and pleasant to be around!" Kids nowadays are like – I remember when I was in school, they were just rude, even to the teachers, and the kids in the classroom are sitting up straight [in the movie], and I think it would be cool for them to watch, just to see how it was back then.
Q2: Would they be able to relate to them, though?
