Q1: How did you get the Navy and the Department of Defense to sanction this and participate?
MM: It really started out as an exploration, you know, what would it look like to tell their story? So once we're inside and we're doing research, and connected with the men, it was about earning their trust, for one, and have them open up to us and communicate their real stories. But it was also about setting up a tent, well, how would you go about this and how would you do it, would you do it with the real guys? Would you do with live ammunition, would you do it with real tactics, real operations, and we sent out to do a true authentic action film.
SW: In the initial process, we were going to use the actors the whole time until we really got to meet the guys and really see these incredible warriors that also these incredible fathers and husbands,...
